Lead Imam

Imam Hamza Wardak

Born in Ottawa, Canada and raised in Toronto. He did his Islamic studies at the Islamic university of Azaadville (Dar ul Uloom Azaadville) after completing two years locally. He serves as the Lead Imam and Principal at Masjid Al Jannah as well as Youth Coordinator and Teacher. He completed his BSW at Ryerson University and is an RSW (Registered Social Worker). He also teaches higher Islamic studies at Al Khalil Academy.

Imam Hamza is an RSW (Registered Social Worker with Ontario College of Social Workers) and a Gottman Certified Marriage Counselor.

Due to high demand and the need to tackle community matters efficiently, Imam Hamza will have office hours for the ease and convenience of community members.
