Masjid Al Jannah is a Centre for Islamic Education
With the ever increasing Muslim population in Greater Toronto Area (GTA) the need for Masjids in the GTA is imperative. Today Masajids in Toronto area are overcrowded with worshipers and the need for additional Masajids are clearly evident. In the same context we, SLIFO a Non Profit Muslim organization established a place of worship for the Muslim community as a whole. The Muslim community living in this part of Toronto requires a place to perform daily salah, quran recitation classes & Islamic education and to meet and greet as a unified Muslim community. The extended activities from this centre would enhance and uplift the Islamic quality of life for the Muslims of the area; enable the community to promote Islam through the work of dawa in the city which is well known for its multiculturalism and diversity in North America.
Al Jannah Sunday School
Unlike a typical weekend Islamic school, Al Jannah Sunday School will not only use conventional teaching methods, but also create several innovative activities to engage your children. Learning Islam will be made exciting and pleasant, Insha’Allah!
Al-Jannah Sunday School program was officially launched on Sunday, January 3, 2010 with 35 students and 4 volunteer teachers. The classes were initially designed for boys and girls studying in Grades 1 to 10. Alhamdulillah, each progressive year brings more students and staff. Moreover, our program is now designed for students in Pre-Junior Kindergarten (Preschoolers) to Grade 12.
The mission of Al-Jannah Sunday School program is to teach Islamic knowledge based on the Qur'an and Sunnah of our beloved Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) which will, in turn, strengthen the deen (religious values) of our children and produce Muslims who are good citizens in our community and in the larger Canadian society.
These classes are taught by experienced Islamic teachers and will be held on Sundays from 10:00 am to 12:20 pm. Our academic year starts in September and ends in June.

The Holy Quran is the guidance from the almighty ALLAH (subhan nahu wata aala) as passed down to the prophet Muhammed (sallallaahu 'alayhe wa sallam) via the angel Gibrail (alaiy-hisalaam). It is the duty of all Muslims to learn Islam and practice the teachings of the Holy Quran.
Al-Jannah Madrasah provides the following courses of study:
Hafiz Course – This course is designed for those who want to memorize the Holy Quran. The person who commits the entire Qur’an to memory is called a Hafiz. An experienced Hafiz-Ul-Quran will give you a step-by-step guideline to the textual breakdown of the Holy Qur’an through daily face-to-face lessons as well as encourage you with this continual practice at home.

this interactive and friendly course be a stepping stone to your further study
and practice of Islam.
We are proud to offer Quality Qur’an classes for boys and
girls in Grades 1 to 12.
We are specialized in the following:
Beginners level (from the Alphabets)
Intermediate level from slow reading to fluent reading
Rules of Tajweed and proper letter pronunciation
Al-Jannah Madrasah offers many other courses including

Assalaamu `alaykum waRahmatullahi Wabarakatoh Al Jannah Sunday School Registration is now open for the 2024-2025 school year. Inshallah, the first day of class will be on September 15th, 2024 from 10:00 AM to 12:20 PM. The monthly cost is $35 per child and $30 for every subsequent child. First-time registrants must bring a valid void cheque (PAP) on the first day.
